Welcome to Kilvaree Croft
Kilvaree Croft is a working croft situated on the beautiful West coast of Scotland. It is home to the Kilvaree flock of Soay sheep, a primitive breed that are registered with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Using traditional techniques I use the wool to produce unique felt products. Traditional techniques are also used in producing replica ceramics- prehistoric styles of pottery from the Neolithic to the Iron Age and contemporary pieces; each piece is individually handcrafted. We also process firewood, both hard and soft woods, all of which have been seasoned for at least one year.
On the left hand side of the page you will find lots more information on the sheep, felt products, pottery and the firewood.
